Obviously, I’d read his blog, but I never knew where he went or how deep it all got.
Don’t worry, I won’t give anything away to those of you who haven’t read it yet! One day soon we’ll get together and discuss it all over a hot pot of sage tea.
I’m not usually one for reading novels, I find they take a lot of mental focus. I spend so much energy on my pets that all I really have time for is the occasional social media post and fine tuning my white noise playlist on Spotify.
For Vic though, I was glad I made the exception. Even rereading the blog entries was worthwhile because they brought back lots of sweet memories of our wonderful warm online community.
If I have one criticism, it’s that the book is a bit edgy for me in certain places. I’m a very sensitive person and felt uncomfortable reading depictions of alcoholism and violence, no matter how mild. The outside world sure is a scary place! I’m glad I could read all about it snuggled up on my cozy couch with my furry friends.
